Permanent exhibit: Dyking on the Tantramar-375 years of history

As part of the Town of Sackville’s “Celebrate our Culture: 1604-2004” ceremonies, The Tantramar Wetlands Centre invited the public to participate in its unveiling of a permanent exhibit entitled Dyking on the Tantramar–325 Years of History on August 12, 2004.

Located within the Centre’s wetlab facility, this unique display interprets through illustrations and artifacts the rich dyking history of the area. Featuring the work of artist Robert Lyon and contributions from several private family collections this exhibit has been designed specifically to compliment the Centre’s award-winning wetlands education programs. For viewing information contact the Centre at 506-364-4257.
